The King’s Plate Campaign 2024
Client: Woodbine Entertainment Group Role: Art Director/Lead Senior Designer
The King’s Plate, formerly Queen’s Plate when Queen Elizabeth reigned and before her death, is the most prominent Horse Racing event in Canada and over the years, it has established itself as a fashion and music event attended by over 15,000 guests [pre/post pandemic].
For the last 5 years, with the exception of 2023, I have been tasked to evolve and elevate the campaign to attract more guest through our compelling and unique campaigns. I took on the challenge for this year’s campaign, working with Fuze Photography Services, to demonstrate the fusion of the traditional regalness with the fashionable experience, that it has become infamous with elite audience of today. Throughout the years, the infancy of the campaign, I used the typography and floral elements to visually give the campaign an appealing and attention-grabbing graphic to last years campaign that incaptures the excitement and fun experience of the event day.
The brand. of the King’s Plate campaign continues with to evolve through the evolutionary path of creative design. In 2024, we saw 20,000 attendees on event day, which was an increase of 25% from previous years.
Mohawk Million - 2024
Client: Mohawk Park Racetrack Role: Art Director/Lead Senior Designer
Mohawk Million had its debut in 2020 and is now a yearly event that is called Canada’s Richest Night of Racing. The campaign had to exhibit the $1M payout as the authoritative message and by using gold and black to emphasize the richness, the amazing photography showcased the passion of the winner. As a successful racing event, it continues every year with more entries and attendance.
Austin, Texas Annual Company Retreat
Client: Cushman & Wakefield Role: Creative Director & Designer
A speciality campaign for North America’s Top 100 Sales Person Retreat in Austin, Tx. The campaign consisted of a logo development, video teaser, event collaterals, and merchandise. For this work, I won the 2019 Design Edge Award and I was the first designer to win in Canada.
203 College Street - Condo Retail Leasing Campaign
Client: Parallax Development Corp c/o Cushman & Wakefield. Role: Lead Designer & Web Developer
A campaign to market to the young working entrepreneur, Live and Work opportunity of condo/office space. Using Parallax’s brand, I elevate the pink gradient into a modern and trendy campaign, consisting. of a website, brochure, Direct Mailing, and print advertising.
Penny Media Kit
Client: Penny Role: Graphic Designer
I was tasked to create an infographic web page for Penny, a startup company, who is promoting a financial tool app. Working with C Communications copywriter, the design was influenced by their messaging and existing website while adhering to their brand guidelines. I sourced imagery that would fit the Penny’s youthful demographic.

Breeders Crown Campaign
Client: Woodbine Entertainment Inc. Role: Creative Director & Designer
Create a dynamic campaign to promote the Breeder’s Crown Racing Event that happend every 2 years. A prestigious race that highlights the best of the best in Standardbred horseracing. One of the main races to qualify for the biggest race of the season, my role as the Lead design and managing the production rollout of the campaign through a team of junior designers. A successful campaign that reached over 150,000 views via website and social media channels. Increased attendance by 13% from the previous years.
Digital and Print campaigns were executed along with commerical spots on local radio stations.
Social Media & Web Presence
Client: Whiplash Factor Bloggers & Influencers
Role: Creative Director, Animator & Designer
When Karen and Carmen from Whiplash Factor contacted CSDcreative, they had an established brand that need to be elevated in social media platforms as well as increase their digital presence with dynamic, animated stories and posts. Amongst the social media and email eblast rebrand, I was asked to design their animated Holiday Campaign featured on thier website.
